*NASOLE WASOLE(HGR) IS THE SILVER LINING ISIOLO PEOPLE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR:HOPE IS HERE WITH US AT LAST!*

I have always been fascinated by the person of HGR! I remember having thoughts about HGR being the major threat to Dr. Kuti after he(the latter) beats the other two contenders at the Jubilee primaries.HGR was gunning for the gubernatorial bid on a Kanu ticket then.That wasnt to be and instead the two are now in a clearly indomitable partnership that is on the verge of sweeping all seats across Isiolo County the Independent way!

Hussein Golicha Roba(HGR) is the same man whose names have now (spontaneously) become synonymous with kindness(nasole),generosity(chochoba) and selflessness(harja).His integrity is,simply put, beyond reproach! These several virtues he possesses are (in my view) reflective of the impression he leaves in the hearts and minds of those he happens to interact with, not only as a person making his debut in politics but also as an outstanding private citizen who has contributed tremendously in changing the lives of many people in the wasoland and beyond.Most people regard him 'tribeless'because his kindness and good nature has been felt far and wide and across all communities living in Isiolo and beyond. An elderly lady i happened to strike a convo with regarding the very dynamic isiolo politics went on and on about this one man and how he is one of the very few people in this age who can easily pass the test of philanthropy and integrity should such a test ever be on the papers!
While its known for con politicians to masquerade as philanthropists. HGRs case is purely genuine seeing as he has been doing this way before he ever made his interest in politics known.He was the talk of Isiolo county just recently when he donated medicine to Isiolo County Referral after Isiolo Medical team approached him to intervene following an acute shortage of medicine that the facility has been grappling with since Doyo was sworn in as Isiolo governor. The team approached him after the county health officials turned a blind eye to the plight of the patients suffering under the gross incompetence of their own regime.

He has directly employed many sons and daughters of wasole and even a higher number indirectly in his several companies.
HGR resume also boasts of service as a director to his various companies spread across East and Central Africa. One of the indicators of his impeccable managerial skills is the successes exhibited by these companies that specialises in distribution of medicine. He has seen many needy but bright students through schools upto the university level. word on the street is that his kindness is out of this world!

Isiolo County has been grappling with a shortage of good leaders! HGR will effectively fill this void as the next senator of Isiolo County! He will be the PEOPLE's representative in there! He is best placed to look after the interests of our county and indeed that of the entire devolded system,too.He is the best placed to take the mantle from the incumbent who has left a phenomenal legacy himself and is now seeking to serve Isiolo as a governor.
Local pundits allied to his opponents side often point to his dropping of the gubernatorial bid to gun for senate instead as their major arsenal for lack of a better critique to antagonise him(there is simply none btw).
On the contrary, anyone with an inherent understanding of Isiolo political dynamics will give him a pat on the back for his solomonic decision.For starters, what transpired before the sham jubilee nominations changed every little detail about the Isiolo politics as we knew it!Senator Kuti and Governor Doyo quit the jubilee vehicle which meant 'the playground was crowded' going towards 8/8.Not that HGR was any less of a contender than the gubernatorial aspirants but his decision moved him from just being a gubernatorial hopeful to a senatorial certainty! cards played well, I could say. The senate seat matches him too since owing to his robust experience in policy making matters, he would bring along with him an immense wealth of knowledge in policy matters which will be enormously invaluable to the upper house of the Kenyan legislature.

Various parameters already indicate that HGR is the undisputed favourite to clinch the senate seat.What gives him a headstart here is the fact that he is entitled to atleast a chip(major ones while at that) from every voter block in Isiolo.
Most communities today vote as a block and in so far as the 2017 race is concerned, HGR has the endorsement of several communities living in Isiolo. He stands to gain several unadulterated voter blocks key among which is the sakuye block which he is entitled to at least seventy percent (70%) of owing to his partnership with Dr. Kuti who is also known for being the regions king maker.  This statistics will dramatically rise when the two hit the campaign trail together in due time.
He has the substantial Meru block solidly behind him thanks to Mama Lucy who has efficiently managed to sway the Meru community the Afreesa way!
Add on that the somali and Samburu blocks which are his for the taking!
 He also has a substantial share in the Turkana block which hasnt been tapped into by most senatorial contenders anyway.

Nasole has a major following within his Borana ethnic,what endears him to most is his impeccable record of having upheld the interest of the wasoles at all times and when it mattered most. He has contributed to a number of invaluable causes that touched on education, water,land,economic stability and good governance!

He has sponsored several students from needy backgrounds upto the university level some of whom are now serving in various enviable capacities and giving back to the community in a big way.
He has dug boreholes in places like Iresa Haboru,Sericho and Badhana.These were areas where water shortage had been the order of the day and folks having had to cover miles just to get a jerrycan.He wasn't an elected leader when he did all these. It was purely out of mercy and empathy for the people whose adversities he had also shared at one time! He chose to not forget them as most, including but not only limited to the elected leaders, had.

Owing to the above and infact most of his achievements that i haven't touched on, he has an unparalleled support  among the Borana who often regard him as the sole hope Waso has at this point in time.
His JIMA clan especially rests most of their hopes in him as he stands a more realistic chance of clinching the senate seat than the incumbent Governor Doyo, his clanmate, has in retaining his gubernatorial seat for the second time.This is because our county boss has chosen to remain in his comfort zone while his opponents are busy marshalling up their support base on all fronts.
Most local pundits have written him(Doyo) off as far as the 2017 Isiolo gubernatorial race is concerned.

The moniker Nasole Wasole is not invain!
When the final whistle is blown on 8/8,Nasole Wasole shall be the man left standing on the dais of senatorial glory!
That can only happen if we make sure our voice is heard inshaAllah by coming out in our numbers to vote for him on the material day of the General Election which is the 8th day of August, 2017
